New Zealand Endurance Athlete born in Auckland (NZ) and moved to Sydney (Australia) when I was 8 years old. I finished School in Australia, becoming a national 3000m champion and NSW State cross country champion. I moved back to New Zealand and finished a Bachelor of Commerce at Otago University taking time out from Athletics in favour of surfing and study in that order. After university I picked back up with running and long distance triathlon where I have recently become the 18-24 age group Ironman 70.3 World Champion. My immediate goal is to start podiuming as a Pro/Elite.
I am an Auckland based Professional Half-Ironman Triathlete, and a Pilates Instructor. I came into the sport of Triathlon rather late in the game from a running background. I raced cross country, track and marathons and spent 6 years living in Gunnison Colorado firstly on an athletic scholarship at Western State University then racing marathons on the elite road racing circuit.
